FileWave announces exciting new features in Asset Trustee

Asset Trustee 8.0 provides automated software usage reports for Windows and
Mac OS X computers for the business, government and education markets

Wil, Switzerland, May 23, 2007 — FileWave, a technology leader in Windows
and Mac OS X systems management software, today announced the release of
Asset Trustee 8.0. This new version enables customers to meet ever-growing
IT and regulatory requirements by means of a more flexible and powerful
asset and inventory management solution. Additional new features include
network device discovery capabilities, enhanced reporting options and an
improved user interface with updated styling.

Asset Trustee 8.0 provides full Windows and Mac OS X support for all
components and contains universal binaries for Intel and PowerPC Mac OS X
components. Automated tasks within it now include the ability to archive
computers and to flag machines that have not reported their status back in
a definable number of days.

“The new discovery and archiving features are welcome and valuable
additions to Asset Trustee,” says Ben Forsyth, CEO and Head of Development
for FileWave (USA), Inc. “Discovery empowers our customers to find all
devices on their network and then use this data with our FileWave product
to deploy software. With the archiving feature they will be notified which
computers have not reported back in a specifiable period of time — another
useful enhancement. Asset Trustee truly is an enterprise-class product
offered at extremely affordable prices for all business, education and
government customers.”

The upgraded version 8.0 also provides reports about network interfaces,
about whether applications or patches have been installed by FileWave and
about the version number of patches. There are also significant performance
improvements throughout the application.

Asset Trustee is FileWave’s IT software and hardware inventory management
solution for Windows PCs and Mac OS as well as for all SNMP supported
devices. Client computers automatically send all information to the
centralized SQL database, where easily run reports verify license
compliance and compute financial values useful in Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)
compliance.
