Swift 3D 4.0, Swift 3D Xpress for Mac OS X released
Electric Rain today announced the release of Swift 3D 4.0 for Mac OS X, a standalone application for designers to build and export 3D animations to the Macromedia Flash (SWF) file format, as well as other major vector and raster formats. Also released was Swift 3D Xpress, a plug-in for Macromedia Flash that instantly converts 2D artwork and text to 3D animations without leaving the Flash interface. Version 4.0 offers an advanced modeling environment, precise animation control, drag-and-drop Galleries, and other workflow enhancements. Swift 3D 4.0 is available immediately for US$189.00 (upgrades from previous versions are $99). Swift 3D Xpress is priced at $129. The company has also announced that customers upgrading to Swift 3D 4.0 for Mac OS X within the first month of release will save $10 on the upgrade price and receive a free copy of Swift 3D Xpress along with a 3D model pack and resource CD.
