Jonathan Nathan has released Jon’s Phone Tool 3.7, the latest version of his versatile phone dialer that can dial a Bluetooth mobile phone or a regular land line through your Mac’s modem or speakers. It can also make calls via Vonage, CallVantage, Skype, Ovolab Phlink, Parliant’s PhoneValet, an Asterisk PBX server, IP Phones from Cisco, and others. JPT also supports dialing through many other VoIP services by integrating with softphones from the Gizmo Project, CounterPath, JackenIAX, LoudHush, and ohphoneX. Version 3.7 features new capabilities, enhancements, and fixes, all of which are documented on the site. Jon’s Phone Tool requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later and is priced at US$22.50.
