QuickerTek Automator eases PowerBook antenna switching

QuickerTek today announced that its PC Card Buffalo Bundle users can now update their computers with this latest release. Using this new, free Mac OS X Automator, users can switch between the Buffalo PC Card and the built-in AirPort card while using their AirPort wireless connection. “The PC Card Buffalo Bundle consists of the 802.11g Buffalo PC Card 54g which offers the fastest 802.11 speeds available,” according to the company.

MacSpeech has released a new ScriptPak for iWeb 1.0. The new ScriptPak adds almost 150 commands to iListen that allows the user to do virtually anything in iWeb they would normally do using keyboard shortcuts or menus. ScriptPaks work with MacSpeech’s flagship product, iListen, whose TalkAnywhere technology allows users to dictate anywhere they would normally type. MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only solution for US$99, and a software and headset with microphone for $149.

Apple updates its iLife ’06 suite

Apple today released updates to its iLife ’06 suite of applications via its Software Update Utility. The company says: “iTunes 6.0.3 includes stability and performance improvements over iTunes 6.0.2. Note: After purchasing music from the iTunes Music Store with iTunes 6 or later, you will also need to upgrade your other computers that purchase music from the iTunes Music Store to the latest version of iTunes. This update to iDVD 6 resolves issues with integration with the other iLife applications, importing of legacy projects and some theme related issues.
