Apple is scheduled to hold its shareholders’ meeting on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. PT, reports Macworld UK. “Shareholders will be asked to re-elect Apple’s current seven-strong board of directors and to ratify auditors and to consider any properly presented shareholder proposals,” notes the story. The current roster of board members includes: Steve Jobs, Al Gore, Fred Anderson, Arthur Levinson, William Campbell, Millard Drexler, and Jerome York.

NetNewsWire 2.1b17 fixes bugs found today

NewsGator Technologies released NetNewsWire 2.1b16 earlier today, but later discovered a few bugs (as with all beta releases), which it has now fixed. NetNewsWire 2.1b17 now includes the ability to run on Mac OS X 10.3.9. This update also fixes a bug where, for some people, the refresh commands would never appear and feeds would never refresh, and corrects an issue with long startup times. NetNewsWire 2.1b17 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
