DEVONtechnologies today announced the release of maintenance updates for DEVONthink Professional and DEVONagent, and publishes Universal Binaries of DEVONthink Personal and DEVONnote. DEVONthink Professional and DEVONagent have been already released as Universal Binaries two weeks ago, DEVONthink Personal and DEVONnote follow today. All four applications run at optimum speed on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. The overall performance on Intel Macs is up to two times higher than on the current PowerPC equipped machines, notes the company.

Extensis announces updates for Portfolio 8

These updates include two file format support filters, which add support for Microsoft Office, allowing users to catalog, find and view files from Microsoft Word and Excel on the Windows platform.
