Bare Bones Software today announced the availability of TextWrangler 2.1.3, the latest version of the company’s free award-winning text editor. TextWrangler 2.1.3 includes maintenance fixes to reported issues and minor refinements to this general-purpose text processing tool. Bare Bones also notes that this version is a Universal Binary for both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs. It requires Mac OS X 10.3.5 or later, and will not run on Mac OS 9 or any previous versions of Mac OS X.

Stairways Software releases Interarchy 8.1

Stairways Software today announced Interarchy 8.1, a new Universal Binary version of its award-winning Internet application for Mac OS X. This release adds support for accessing Amazon S3, Amazons’s Simple Storage Service giving users direct access to unlimited amounts of disk space and bandwidth, as well as adding support for Auto Uploads to multiple remote directories, allowing a file to be dropped on Interarchy and uploaded to multiple remote sites in a single action.
