Acertant Technologies today announced that Versomatic 1.0 for Mac OS X is now available for immediate download. Versomatic is a powerful system extension that monitors and archives file changes automatically in the background. The entire process is transparent to the user and compatible with any application that saves files to disk. Versomatic can also recover deleted and accidentally over-written files regardless of when they were deleted. Changes are archived in real-time “as they happen” and the protection is always pre-emptive, notes the company. Versomatic for Mac OS X is available at a special introductory price of US$39.99 (a 20% discount), which will remain in effect for the rest of this month.
