Melle, Germany — October 31, 2006 — ProjectWizards the makers of
the project management software Merlin, today announced the release
candidate of Merlin 2 called the “Halloween Version”.
This special Halloween release comes with a few treats. A miniature
view has been integrated for all graphical displays. This enables a
quick overview in the Gantt, the Utilization or the Netplan view,
making navigation in projects of all sizes very easy.
Merlin 2 can now export projects into mind map implementing a widely
requested feature, which allows for easy transfer of Merlin 2
projects to the NovaMind or MindManager.
Users may find the implementation of AppleScript very convenient.
This allows Merlin 2 to be integrated more widely into the
environment of a company. In addition to these little treats, other
interface enhancements have been made to the application. Detailed
information can be obtained from the release notes available here:
The beta phase of Merlin 2 started on June 8, 2006 at the MacExpo in
Cologne. It was here that Merlin 2 was first presented. After almost
5 months with 9 beta versions and close to 100,000 downloads later,
ProjectWizards is proud to present the release candidate of Merlin 2.
“Now we have reached a very important milestone for the development
of Merlin 2.” Frank Blome, ProjectWizards’ CEO said today. “With the
presentation of our Halloween version we are very happy to announce
the finalization of the test phase of Merlin 2.”
