Ergonis Software releases KeyCue 2.1 – the Cheat Sheet for Menu Shortcuts

Hagenberg, Austria: October 31, 2006 — Ergonis Software today
released KeyCue 2.1, the company’s popular menu shortcut productivity
software.

KeyCue greatly increases user productivity by improving the
visibility and usability of menu shortcuts. The productivity paradox
of menu shortcuts is that shortcuts were designed to increase
productivity, but productivity actually decreases when applications
provide large numbers of shortcuts, in particular when the shortcuts
are defined inconsistently across applications. KeyCue’s elegantly
simple solution is to detect and display an instant overview of the
overall functionality of any application.

KeyCue 2.1 adds complete German localization including German
documentation. The new version also includes some functional
improvements and maintenance fixes to user-reported issues.

“The average Mac OS X application has about 40 menu shortcuts.
Apple’s Mail, for example, can have 80 or even more menu shortcuts,
depending on the current situation. KeyCue is for menu shortcuts what
PopChar is for special characters. A simple and unobtrusive utility
that makes your daily work easier and automatically enhances your
productivity,” said Christoph Reichenberger, founder and CEO of
Ergonis Software.

Availability and Pricing:
KeyCue 2.1 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or newer.

KeyCue can be purchased securely on the Ergonis Software website for
$19.99 (USD). The upgrade to KeyCue 2.1 is free for anyone who has
