Copenhagen and San Francisco, August 11th 2006 – Unity has just been
awarded a runner-up Apple Design Award for “Best Use of Mac OS X
Graphics” at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference. This is the
first time that a game development tool has reached the level of
quality and ease of use required to win this prestigious award.

The Apple Design Awards were handed out by old-time Apple interface
design guru John Geleynse on stage at the Moscone center in San
Francisco, complete with thumping music and smoke-machines.
Unity is the only Mac-based high-end game development tool sporting a
stylish pro-app GUI, no-friction workflow and top-of-the-line
technical features such as extensible graphics and full-screen
effects, great particles, a highly optimized scripting engine
