Extensis Debates Font Management in OS X at TypeCon2006 Event

Company presents in panel discussion with Apple, Linotype and other
font industry leaders.

PORTLAND, Ore., August 7, 2006 – Extensis, a division of Celartem
Inc., today announced that Halstead York, font solutions product
manager for Extensis will present in a panel discussion in
conjunction with TypeCon2006 – The Boston T Party, at the Hyatt
Regency Hotel in Boston.

On Friday, August 11th from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., York will
discuss font management in OS X by participating in a panel session
titled “Demystifying Font Management in OS X.” The session will be
moderated by well-known book designer and typographer Kent Lew; other
panelists in this session will include Peter Lofting of Apple
Computer, Bruno Steinert of Linotype and Stephen Coles of
FontShop/Typographica.

Extensis will also have a presence on the TypeCon2006 exhibition
floor. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the Extensis booth and
take the Extensis Font ID Challenge to win prizes. The event runs
from August 9-13th, 2006.

TypeCon2006 is the eighth annual conference presented by the
non-profit Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA), an
international organization dedicated to the promotion, study, and
support of typography and related arts.
