The American Balloon today announced the release of PopCopy 2, an application that sits in the menubar, and keeps a history of any and all text, images, or files that have been copied to the clipboard. PopCopy’s Menu Bar addition shows the user what is currently in the clipboard, and lets them place something that has been previously copied, back into the clipboard. The user can also select an item by pressing a user-defined hotkey combination, which presents the user with a menu to choose a previously copied item, and when the hotkey is released, places this item into the clipboard, and pastes it into the frontmost app. PopCopy 2 is priced at US$14.
