AEC Software today released FastTrack Schedule 9.0.1, a new update to the company’s project management application. Version 9.0.1 offers enhanced data exchange with Microsoft Project through XML, new support for opening Microsoft Project template (.MPT) files, and the capability to open Microsoft Project (.MPP) files within FastTrack Schedule 9.0.1 running on Intel-based Macs. In addition to improvements to FastTrack Schedule 9’s support for iCalendar (.ICS) files, this release includes support for horizontal scrolling with Apple’s Mighty Mouse, enables users to insert pictures and graphics to create custom milestones and bar start/end points, and adds the capability to acquire project information through MPX files created by other project-focused programs including MindManager, Project KickStart, and Timberline.
