There has been much talk during the past few days regarding Apple’s iTunes 6.0.2 update. It turns out that a new “feature” of this release includes a “Mini Store” which monitors what a user listens to and updates a box on the bottom of the screen with recommended music selections from the iTunes Music Store. Could this be described as spyware? Macworld Magazine’s Rob Griffiths recently posted a nice take on the issue, along with Apple’s response.
