Extensis today announced Suitcase Fusion, its next-generation, single-user font manager, that integrates Suitcase X1 and Font Reserve 3. “Suitcase Fusion, a Mac OS X, single-user font manager, makes the many hassles of managing fonts effortless by including a central font repository, face level activation, font corruption checking and font identification technology,” notes the release. “With Suitcase Fusion, users are provided automatic font activation so that they never have to think about activating the right fonts. By simply opening a document, a user’s fonts are automatically activated by Suitcase Fusion.” Suitcase Fusion requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, and is priced at US$99.95.
