Boingo Wireless today announced Mac Boingo, a version of its Wi-Fi hot spot access software that enables Mac OS X users to log on at thousands of Boingo Roaming System locations with a single username and password. The Boingo system includes more than 12,000 hot spots from roaming partners such as Wayport, STSN, Surf & Sip, Stay Online, Concourse Communications, and dozens of other network providers.

Near-Time today announced the early access release of Near-Time Current, which harnesses the power of Near-Time’s Flow collaborative content management system and focuses it for personal use. The software combines content creation, management, blogging, and RSS features into one tool for Mac users. Near-Time Current will be free for all Current early access users. Jobs’ Keynote webcast to be delayed 9 hours

In a press release issued today, Apple has announced that Steve Jobs’ Keynote address at Macworld Expo in San Francisco tomorrow, which takes place at 9:00 a.m. PT at the Moscone Center, will not be webcast until a full nine hours later — “approximately” 6:00 p.m. PT. No reason was cited for the delay, but it is very unusual in light of Keynote broadcasts in recent memory. Apple was not immediately available for comment.
