SessionLoops shipping multi-track artist drum loops

To coincide with the release of Apple’s Garageband 2, SessionLoops today announced the availability of its new multi-track rock drum loop collection in the Apple Loops format. The collection features drum legend Simon Phillips, and includes hundreds of song-oriented loops and grooves, organized in 34 Drum Sessions with a tempo range from 63 BPM to 182 BPM. Each Drum Session contains loops (named Verse, Chorus, Fill. etc), inspired by a specific drummer or band, from AC/DC to The Police, to Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.

Apple offers iLife Up-to-Date programs

Apple has posted information on its iLife Up-to-Date programs, which allow certain Mac users to get iLife ’05 at a discounted price of US$19.95. The iLife Hardware Up-To-Date program is for customers who purchase a new Mac on or after January 11, 2005 that does not have iLife ’05 included. The iLife Retail Software Up-To-Date is for those who purchased the boxed version of iLife ’04 on or after January 11, 2005. Both programs end on March 25, 2005.
