Flash-based digital audio player market to grow in 2005

1394 Trade Association re-elects Apple manager

The 1394 Trade Association elected its 2005 board of directors last week, re-electing Eric Anderson, Apple’s FireWire software manager, as chair and Max Bassler of Molex, Inc. as vice chair. Dave Thompson of Agere Systems was re-elected secretary, and Jalil Oraee of Oxford Semiconductor will continue as financial officer. “Our membership has selected a very qualified and diverse Board,” said Anderson.
