ChronoSync update improves Tiger, Panther compatibility

Econ Technologies has released ChronoSync 3.0.1, a free update to its automated synchronization and backup application for Mac OS X. Version 3.0.1 contains features, fixes and improved compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and 10.3 Panther version 10.3.9. The update also adds the ability to expand and collapse all folders from within the Analyze Panel and improved synchronization performance of analyzing and deleting package files. Tiger sessions, Berklee music festival at Macworld Boston

IDG World Expo today announced that July’s Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston will host several Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger conference sessions taught by Mac industry luminaries, including David Pogue, Bob Levitus, and Ted Landau. It was also announced today that the Berklee College of Music will present a music festival at Macworld, featuring select Berklee artists who use Macs to compose and produce music. Macworld Conference & Expo will take place July 11-14, 2005 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

Intego announces Tiger compatibility

Intego today announced that all its security software has been updated for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Users with the appropriate subscriptions will be able to download the latest versions of the programs using NetUpdate, Intego’s Internet updating utility. The following updates will be available on April 27: NetBarrier X3 10.3.6, VirusBarrier X 10.1.4, Personal Backup X 10.3.9, ContentBarrier X 10.1.4, ChatBarrier X3 10.3.5, Personal Antispam X3 10.3.4, Remote Management Console 10.3.4, and NetUpdate 10.3.2.
