Sig Software today announced that Drop Drawers 1.6.6 has been released offering full compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Drop Drawers is a user interface enhancement that provides floating drawers on the sides of a screen to store text, URLs, aliases, scripts, pictures, sounds, movies and anything else. Information in drawers can be launched, viewed, edited, copied, pasted, dragged, dropped, or inserted into the current document at the touch of a key. Drop Drawers is priced at US$20.

TechRestore launches overnight power supply repair service

TechRestore today announced that they have begun offering a new overnight power supply repair service for Macintosh G3, G4 and G5 systems. The repair is a complete, door-to-door service for customers throughout the world. Toast Titanium 6.1 update disables iTunes burning

Our colleagues at MacUpdate have noted the release of Toast Titanium Update X 6.1, the latest version of Roxio’s popular CD/DVD authoring software. The most notable change in this release is the following statement from Roxio: “Following discussions with Apple, this version will no longer allow customers to create audio CDs, audio DVDs, or export audio to their hard drive using purchased iTunes music store content.” Other changes include several enhancement tweaks and bug fixes.
