WebBeaver download application gets enhancements

Turingart today announced the availability of WebBeaver 2.3.1, the latest version of its utility for verifying, downloading, and visualizing Internet media files. “Using a single link/URL, WebBeaver generates all related links, verifies availability of the media files and finally downloads them.” Version 2.3.1 fixes several small problems, optimizes application responsiveness and enhances speed of downloads. DVD Studio Pro 4.0.2 Update released

Apple today released DVD Studio Pro 4.0.2 Update, the latest version of its professional DVD authoring software. According to the release notes, version 4.0.2 “addresses isolated stability issues.” These include: font size in PAL templates, menu duplication when Text Objects are active, simulation of long PAL MPEG2 stream with MP3 audio, and isolated issue with recognition of certain media.

Yasu updated for Mac OS X Tiger

Jim Mitchell Designs today announced the release of Yasu 1.0.3, the latest update to its maintenance utility for Mac OS X. “Designed to be a quick first line of defense for solving OS X related issues, Yasu was developed with System Administrators who service large groups of workstations in mind, enabling them to perform a specific group of maintenance tasks quickly within a few clicks, rather than endlessly typing shell script commands in the Terminal application.” Yasu is distributed as donationware.
