Sonnet announces 1.8 GHz processor upgrades

Sonnet Technologies today announced two new single processor Encore/ST processor upgrades — the Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz for most “Sawtooth” Power Mac G4 systems, including AGP Graphics, Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio and QuickSilver models, and the Encore/ST G4 1.8 GHz made specifically for the Power Mac G4 Cube. The company also announced both upgrades are priced US$50 less than the 1.7 GHz upgrade they replace.
