O’Reilly releases ‘The Art of Shuffling’

O’Reilly today announced the release of “The Art of Shuffling” (US$9.95), a new book by J. D. Biersdorfer. The 96-page book covers “all the basics of iPod shuffle hardware and software; using iTunes with ease; filling the Shuffle with nothing but the best songs; and playing them however, whenever, and wherever desired. Biersdorfer includes resource and web site listings for troubleshooting and further research, and he even delivers sample playlists.”

Education marketshare jumps to 11% for Apple UK

Apple has picked 11% of the education marketshare in the UK according to a recent Gartner report, notes Macworld UK. Jonny Evans has conducted an interview with Apple UK and Ireland managing director Mark Rogers. “It is about us providing solutions that provide the tools to let teachers teach and students learn” said Rogers in the interview. “It’s about ensuring technology is not a creative inhibitor, but a creative enabler.”
