Apple has posted Security Update 2005-007 via Mac OS X’s Software Update utility and on the Web. The company notes “Security Update 2005-007 delivers a number of security enhancements and is recommended for all Macintosh users. This update includes the following components: AppKit, BlueTooth, CoreFoundation, cups, Directory Services, HIToolBox, Kerberos, loginwindow, Mail, OpenSSL, QuartzComposerScreenSaver, Security Interface, Safari, X11, and zlib.

Prosoft announces Tiger compatibility for NetWare

Prosoft Engineering today announced that the latest version of NetWare for Mac OS X is now Tiger compatible. “Prosoft is excited about continuing support for NetWare environments running Apple’s newest Tiger operating system,” said General Manager Gordon Bell.
