Lexmark International today introduced the Lexmark P450 4×6-inch inkjet photo printer, featuring what it says is the industry’s first-ever built-in CD photo burner. The new printer allows user to: save digital photos to CD, print photos directly from a Bluetooth technology cell phone with the purchase of an optional adaptor, print photos from most digital cameras, view photos on a TV using a standard video cable (must be purchased separately), and more.

Tunewear announces TuneWallet for iPod nano

Tunewear today announced TuneWallet nano, a business card-sized case for Apple’s iPod nano. The new case is made of genuine leather and features a flip-cover, which when closed provides protection against dirt and scratches. There is also a card slot inside the flip-cover to fit credit cards, business cards and more. TuneWallet nano will be available in October 2005 — pricing was not announced.

QuickerTek today announced the release of new transceivers for PowerBooks and iBooks. The small transceiver is not much larger than a antenna, clips onto the PowerBook or iBook case, comes with a power converter when working near a power outlet, and can also be powered from a FireWire port on the computer. Compatible models include: 12-inch & 14-inch iBooks,15-inch titanium PowerBook, 15-inch aluminum PowerBook 1.33GHz and earlier, 15-inch aluminum PowerBook 1.5GHz and 1.67GHz, and 17-inch aluminum PowerBook — all models.
