Salem, NH, 2005-12-01: Macintosh speech recognition authority MacSpeech has
released a new ScriptPak for iPhoto version 5. The new ScriptPak installs
over 100 commands into iListen that allows the user to do virtually
anything by voice in iPhoto that they would normally do using keyboard
shortcuts or menus. This replaces the previous iPhoto ScriptPak, which was
compatible with iPhoto 2.

“The ability to sort photos or control slideshows by voice brings a new
dimension to iPhoto,” said MacSpeech Chief Evangelist Chuck Rogers. “This
update to our popular iPhoto ScriptPak contains almost twice as many
commands as its predecessor.”

The ScriptPak for iPhoto 5 is available immediately from the MacSpeech web
site and sells for $15. iListen 1.6.5 or later is required to use the new

ScriptPaks work with MacSpeech’s flagship product, iListen, whose
TalkAnywhere technology allows users to dictate anywhere they would
normally type. ScriptPaks enhance iListen’s Command & Control capabilities
by teaching it about the individual keyboard and menu commands in a
specific program. ScriptPaks only affect iListen’s ability to control an
application and are not required for dictation.

MacSpeech offers several iListen packages, including a software only
solution for $99, and a software and headset with microphone for $149.

MacSpeech is a Mac-only company dedicated to producing the finest speech
