Insider Software today announced the availability of Smasher, a new multipurpose font utility that enables creative professionals to extract optimal performance from their design applications. Smasher streamlines font suitcases and cleans font caches to eliminate a variety of common font problems and improve the performance of Mac OS X systems. Smasher is priced at US$49.95, and for a limited time, owners of other Insider Software products can purchase Smasher at a special introductory price of $24.95. The company also notes that as a special bonus to the Mac community, Smasher’s cache smash feature for Mac OS is free in the downloadable trial version of the product.
