FileWave today announced that it will introduce FileWave 2.5 of its flagship software change management suite and Asset Trustee 7.5 of its asset inventory solution at Apple Expo in Paris next week. Major new functions of FileWave and Asset Trustee include the automated installation of the FileWave Client on new Mac OS X systems on the network as well as a connection to Asset Trustee. Asset Trustee 7.5 also allows the entry of purchased licenses and the comparison between installed and purchased licenses. Another main new feature is software metering, which provides a proper count of software usage.
