Apple has reportedly modified its iPod trademark to include video, notes Engadget. According to the story, the trademark used to include “portable and handheld digital electronic devices for recording, organizing, transmitting, manipulating, and reviewing text, data, and audio files.” Now the trademark reads “portable and handheld digital electronic devices for recording, organizing, transmitting, manipulating, and reviewing text, data, audio, image, and video files.” The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Apple has been talking to record labels about the possibility of selling music videos online as early as September.
