Barcode Producer 3.6
CARY, North Carolina (July 25th, 2005) — Intelli Innovations, Inc.
has released Barcode Producer 3.6, a point update to its award-winning
barcode generation suite for Mac OS X. This update adds Spotlight
integration, enhanced 13-digit ISBN support, POSTNET preview, enhanced
printing, and other improvements.
New in this revision:
– Spotlight Integration for Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger”: barcodes created
with Barcode Producer can located with Spotlight by barcode value,
symbology name, or other references.
– Enhanced Bookland EAN and 13-digit ISBN support: Barcode Producer can
now automatically convert a 10-digit ISBN to a 13-digit ISBN and
created the related barcode with the proper check digits, and now
includes a 13-digit ISBN transitional guide from the Help menu.
Barcode Producer fully supports Sunrise 2005 standards and allows
users to create, among others, EAN-13, UPC-A, and ITF-14 vector
barcode graphics.
– New “Install Optional OCR Fonts” menu option, guiding the user through
the process of placing the optional OCR fonts on their system.
– New printing functionality for fast access to a printed copy of the
barcode for proofing and validation. With one of these two barcode
scanners, users can validate a printed barcode’s readability with the
Barcode Producer software:
