A story on The Inquirer today notes that the Mozilla Firefox Web browser has been successfully ported to Intel-based Macs. According to the report, Apple helped out with the transition. “After a bit of development, Aas (Josh Aas is a chief developer of the Firefox browser) and the Fireferrit team were able to install the software on an Intel Mac on Aas’ desk and got a build up and running,” notes the report. “The new version is still a bit buggy but it is working.”
