Aspyr Media today announced they are set to begin shipping The Sims 2 for Mac and expect the title on retail shelves in the US by June 17, 2005. The Sims 2 was developed for the Mac by Aspyr Studios, Aspyr’s internal development team, under license from Electronic Arts. “More life-like Sims, all-new aspirational gameplay, and the ground-breaking addition of genetics, with the DNA of Sims passed down through generations, gives players a more vivid, realistic, and in-depth Sims experience. All of this takes place in a new amazingly realistic 3-D world.” The Sims 2 is priced at US$49.99.
