In an article on Forbes today, Arik Hesseldahl makes note of some of the cool Dashboard widgets currently available — he lists his top ten. “Apple has been encouraging the development of widgets since it first demonstrated the Dashboard feature last year, and at my last count, there were 247 free widgets available for download from the Apple Web site.” Incidentally, DashboardWidgets.com has a MacMinute news widget, among many others. Apple’s Web site also has a widget section with a large number of available widgets, as does MacUpdate.com.
