Aspyr today announced that The Sims 2 has been declared gold for Mac and will soon begin shipping. Look for an announcement next week with more information on when the game will ship, and an exact date of when the title will arrive on store shelves. The Sims 2 was developed for the Mac by Aspyr Studios, Aspyr’s internal development team, under license from Electronic Arts. “More life-like Sims, all-new aspirational gameplay, and the ground-breaking addition of genetics, with the DNA of Sims passed down through generations, gives players a more vivid, realistic, and in-depth Sims experience. All of this takes place in a new amazingly realistic 3-D world.” The Sims 2 is priced at US$49.99.
