Everyday Software has released Maquarium 2.2, a new version of its aquarium management software for the Mac. Maquarium allows users to track chemicals, schedule tasks, keep notes, and manage the inventory of their aquariums. Version 2.2 focuses on Mac OS 10.4 Tiger compatibility, adding a metadata importer which enables Maquarium files to be searched using Spotlight and adding Spotlight searching support from within Maquarium. Other changes include restored compatibility for Mac OS 10.2.8, along with other minor changes. Maquarium sells for US$24.
