@Last Software today announced the unveiling of SketchUp 5 at their Sneak Peek party on May 19th during the AIA 2005 National Convention and Design Exposition at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. On Friday, May 20th the company is co-hosting with Apple a free presentation and reception — Apple Architecture by Design — from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how SketchUp 5 and the Macintosh platform offer an open, stable, and flexible environment for the architect and designer. The official release of SketchUp 5 is scheduled for mid-summer 2005. Customers who purchase a new license of SketchUp 4.0, or an upgrade to version 4.0 between May 1st and the release of SketchUp 5, will receive a free upgrade to version 5.
