Vara Software has announced the release of Wirecast 2.0, an update to leverage the technologies in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. With Wirecast, users can replace a whole broadcast studio with a Mac for creating Web broadcasts, and version 2.0 brings a whole list of new features: multiple bitrate output, chroma key for live broadcast, integration of core image transitions / filters in live video, integration with Spotlight, Quartz composer, and more.
