Photoleap today announced the release of Photoleap 1.1.1, an update to its photo sharing service for Mac OS X and Windows. Photoleap allows users to send hundreds of photos of any size to anyone with an email address. The software supports iPhoto 4 and 5 with an optional plug-in that allows users to send photos directly from iPhoto and save photos they receive to iPhoto albums. Also new with this release: view the photos on the Web and use email aliases. Photoleap requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later, is free for 2 megapixel images, and US$29 a year for larger images.
