FileMaker has released a new ODBC update for Mac OS X for use with FileMaker Pro 7, Developer 7 and Server 7 Advanced. The update includes the FileMaker ODBC Client Driver for Mac OS X (10.3.x or 10.2.x), which was previously only available for Windows. “The ODBC Client Driver software gives Mac users the ability to use FileMaker products as an ODBC data source for sharing information with a wide range of Mac desktop, database or web applications. Installation is easy, and customers can utilize the provided ReadMe file and associated documentation that ships with their product (Pro 7, Developer 7 or Server 7 Advanced) to quickly set up ODBC functionality with FileMaker applications.”
