XtremeMac today announced the debut of Shieldz, translucent clip-on covers for iPod mini, designed to “add a splash of extra color and excitement while providing durable protection.” The covers, which come in Sky, Rose, Tangerine, Lilac, Kiwi and Ice colors, work with the Apple iPod mini belt-clip and armband and are also compatible with XtremeMac’s Accessory kit for iPod mini. Shieldz sell individually at a suggested retail price of US$12.95.
