WiebeTech today has introduced a number of new products at Macworld Expo in San Francisco. First up, the company’s newest RackFire+ packs up to 1.6TB of storage into a small 1U rack mount enclosure. It features two big FireWire drive trays, each with a capacity of two 400GB drives for 1.6TB total. In addition, each tray is a high-performance, hardware-based FireWire RAID. Pricing begins at US$699.95 for just the enclosure. Also announced is the new BittyDock, WiebeTech’s smallest DriveDock product, which allows users to connect even the smallest drives to their computers through a bus-powered USB2 connection. Data on 1.8″ and 1.0″ drives can now be accessed without using an AC adapter. BittyDock will be available in mid-February for $79.95.
