iSkin introduces iPod ‘shades’

iSkin today announced colored screen protectors called “Shades” for use with the company’s iPod protectors. “These funky screen protectors are made of a polymer that provides protection without leaving wet marks, graphic distortion or compromises in clarity when placed over the screen of the iPod,” explains iSkin. The Shades are specifically designed for use with the iSkin eXo2, eVo and eVo2. They are available as a US$14.99 five-pack in Cosmos (purple), Sonic (deep blue), Blush (pink), Kiwi (green) and Tangerine (orange).

No early iTunes release expected for U2 album

U2 will not move up the release date of their new album, despite news that it has leaked onto the Web, band representatives said. “At present there is no plan to bring the album release date forward,” U2 associates said. As reported yesterday, there is speculation that U2 will release How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb early on the iTunes Music Store because of a statement made be frontman Bono in July.
