Apple database software subsidiary FileMaker has announced that it will showcase a wide range of software solutions for K-12 education at the Florida Education Technology Conference (FETC), which opens tomorrow at the Orlando County Convention Center. A Better Finder Rename 6.1 released

PublicSpace.net has released A Better Finder Rename 6.1, the latest version of its popular Mac OS X Finder enhancement. The new version allows files to be renamed based on names in a tab-delimited text file. This allows external tools such as text editors (e.g. BBEdit), spreadsheets (e.g. MS Excel) or databases (e.g. FileMaker) to be used to generate the new names.
