NAPP earns national accreditation

The National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) today announced that it has earned national accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), a Department of Education-recognized agency. NAPP is the first avocational institution in the creative industry to receive national accreditation, a designation that certifies the quality of its training, according to the press release.

San Francisco Apple Store to open Feb. 28

Apple has announced that its first retail store in San Francisco will open in Union Square at One Stockton Street on Saturday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. PST. The store will be one of the company’s five flagship stores worldwide, joining the stores in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo. A special preview of the store will be held for the media on Thursday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. PST.

WiebeTech today announced price reductions on the MicroGB800TM FireWire 800 / USB2 pocket drive. Pricing on the empty enclosure has been reduced US$40 to $119.95.
