Rogue Amoeba releases Nicecast 1.7

Rogue Amoeba Software today released Nicecast 1.7, an update to its software that allows you to easily broadcast audio on Mac OS X. Version 1.7 brings fully custom MP3 settings, and features an enhanced VoiceOver plugin. Also included in the free update is an updated Effects window with parallel routing and support for Cocoa AudioUnits, as well as Advanced Audio Device options, and an updated Instant Hijack component. Rogue Amoeba said this update is the first to require Mac OS X 10.3. Nicecast sells for US$40.
