At MacExpo in London today, Elgato Systems announced the release of the EyeTV 610, which they say is the world’s first digital TV recorder for DVB-C, the upcoming digital cable standard. Digital Cable (DVB-C) is widely available in Europe and currently has a base of approximately 10 million households. The EyeTV 610 is available now for €329 in countries where the DVB-C standard is supported.
