Apple’s future business model plans continue to be the topic of discussion for industry analysts and “experts,” particularly when it comes to the company’s focus on iPods and other consumer devices and/or personal computers. The Red Herring today has an article posted quoting a number of analysts on the subject. “The latest example of Apple’s deft buzz-making machine revolves around a ‘special event’ scheduled for Tuesday in San Jose’s California Theater [see related story],” notes the report. “Some analysts say that Apple will unveil a black iPod preloaded with U2’s latest album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Other analysts wager that Apple will use the event to launch an iPod with flash and video features, or the entry of iTunes in some European countries.”
