Bare Bones Software today announced the release of BBEdit 8.0.2, the latest version of the company’s award-winning HTML and text editor for Mac OS X. BBEdit 8.0.2 is a maintenance release to fix a reported issue that would cause an error to be reported when saving files opened with passive FTP via the “Open from FTP/SFTP Server” dialog. The update is available free of charge to all registered BBEdit 8.0 customers.
