Canon today announced several new digital cameras, as well as a new photo printer. First up is the company’s new 16.7 megapixel EOS-1Ds MARK II SLR (shown at right), which offers commercial photographers a full-size 24x36mm CMOS sensor to eliminate focal length conversion factors and features improved image quality with its new image sensor and Canon’s exclusive DIGIC II image processor. The EOS-1Ds MARK II SLR will be available in November for an estimated street price of US$7,999.
